For more than a decade at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Pratihar noticed a pattern. Many of his patients with hearing loss also struggled with memory, attention, and focus. He wanted to do something about it. Then long COVID gave him the same symptoms. Brain fog. Lost words. Trouble focusing.
His own recovery — through cognitive assessment and brain health training — became the inspiration for a new kind of clinic. One where hearing care and brain health are addressed together.
