Thank you for referring your patient to AUDICOG Hearing & Brain Health Institute. We work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support individuals with hearing loss through evidence-based hearing care, with an informed perspective on listening and brain health. Our approach emphasizes clear communication, coordinated care, and timely feedback to referring clinicians.
Referral to audiology may be appropriate for patients with:
- Hearing difficulties or communication concerns
- Difficulty understanding speech, especially in noise
- Tinnitus or sound sensitivity
- Listening fatigue or increased effort during conversation
- Hearing loss with concerns about attention or memory during listening
Supportive Cognitive Wellness Services
For selected patients with hearing loss, we offer non-diagnostic cognitive wellness assessment and training focused on listening efficiency, attention, and communication. These services are to support optimal hearing care as hearing loss and brain health are interconnected.
(These services do not replace neurologic or neuropsychological evaluation and treatment.)
